Patchwork Quilts 2013
This is the quilt I made for our first great granddaughter Alice. The cushion is for the new mum’s chair
A joint effort between my daughter me. A first for both of us.
Made for my granddaughter
Skull and cross bones made for my grandson Cal
This is a double bed quilt , made for a friend. So beautiful I didn’t really want to hand it over.
Made by my daughter and me for my grandson Tom
Made for a friend, loved this quilt. By far my favourite.
My daughter and I had fun making this one. Loved the colours, very warm and cozy
This caused a bit of bother and a giggle. I made this lap blanket for a neighbour to cover her legs whilst watching television during our cold winter months. My hubby told the neighbour it was for an old woman, not realising that’s who I’d making it for. She was not amused but saw the funny side.
Made as an experiment, but loved by one of my daughters. It was made from scraps but she said this was what she wanted.
I finally got round to making a quilt for myself. Love the neutral colours in contrast to the teal fabric in this quilt. It’s been ready to quilt for a month or so, on my pile of things to finish
Making this for my daughter Jo, loved mine but wanted a stronger colour. It’s on my to finish pile
My granddaughter Charlie absolutely adores tigers, so I made this in tiger and forest colours to blend in with the rest of her jungle bedroom.
Another quilt on my things to finish pile. I love the streaks of colour across the blue.
